Job Title: Production Intern
Organization: Tarrant To & Through Partnership (T3)
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Pay Rate: $18/hour, up to 20hrs/week
Duration: Six months, with the option to extend or transition into a full-time position
Supervisor: Reports to the Development Manager of Communications & Digital Media.

Tarrant To & Through Partnership (T3) is a non-profit organization located in Fort Worth, TX. T3 Partnership aims to ensure more Tarrant County Students have the training and skills they need to thrive in today's workforce. T3 works with a number of school districts and institutions of higher education including: Fort Worth ISD, Crowley ISD, TCU, UNT, UTA, TCC and more.
Position Overview:
The Production Intern will play an integral role in the planning, organizing, and scheduling of video production projects, primarily focusing on the T3 Pathways to Careers (T3 P2C) educational platform modules. This paid, six-month internship (with the potential to extend based on performance) is ideal for a current junior or senior OR recent college graduate who is detail-oriented, proactive, and keen to gain hands-on experience in all stages of video production. This position requires travel within the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area for on-site video shoots, so flexibility and reliability are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling & Coordination: Maintain and update production calendars to ensure all T3 P2C video shoots remain on schedule.
- Script Prep: Gather, review, and prepare scripts and storyboards, ensuring the production team has accurate materials before each shoot.
- Production Support: Assist with camera operations and may appear on-screen as needed; ensure all production briefs are complete and distributed.
- Organization & Asset Management:
- Organize and track video files using platforms like frame.io, Asana, and Box.
- Archive completed videos in Box and keep records of when finalized videos are uploaded to T3 P2C.
- Equipment Management: Ensure all camera and audio equipment is maintained, fully charged, and readily available for shoots.
- Time & Talent Management: Keep filming sessions running on time, manage on-camera talent, and ensure everyone adheres to the production schedule.
- Feedback Integration & Approval Liaison: Collect and interpret feedback from stakeholders, follow up with managers to review and approve videos, and make sure revisions are executed promptly.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Tackle last-minute changes efficiently, maintaining production quality and deadlines.
- Video Editing: Assist in editing videos for T3 P2C
Qualifications:
- Academic Standing: Must be a junior or senior in college by January 2025.
- Experience & Skills:
- Previous exposure to video production, camera operation, video editing, and on-screen presence is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and willingness to learn new production techniques.
- Reliable references required.
- Willingness and ability to travel within DFW for video shoots.
- Adaptability under pressure and readiness to handle last-minute challenges.
- Work Environment & Compensation:
- Position lasts six months, with possibility of extension based on performance.
- Pay: $18/hr.
- Reports to the Development Manager of Communications & Digital Media.
- Collaborates with Video & SFX Senior Intern, Video Host Intern, Graphic Design & Editor Intern, and Curriculum Development Intern.
